Designed with a toe flow-promoting small slant or “jet neck,” the Phantom X 9.5 offers an additional configuration nearly identical to its twin, the Phantom X 9. Exact in every way, save for its toe flow-promoting neck design, this precision milled compact mallet delivers balance and feel with its solid stainless steel face and wings integrated with a rounded 6061 aluminum flange-sole component. Scotty calls this unique profile “connected” at address, as its simple flange alignment connects the putter wings when viewed at address.The Phantom X 9.5’s clean sight line simplifies alignment for increased confidence, as customizable stainless steel sole weights allow for consistent weight and feel at all lengths. With a new sole design that center-balances on the “X” when the putter is soled, Scotty’s new Phantom X 9.5 strengthens the family lineup with a crucial shape for today’s game. It comes equipped with the line’s new Pistolero Plus grip, revamped with a decorative, non-slip texture.

NEW TEXTURED GRIP

Scotty updated the Pistolero Plus grip offering for 2022 with a new, non-slip, decorative texture that, like its predecessors, has less taper in the low hand for the ideal combination of size, feel and feedback.

SIMPLE ALIGNMENT

A clean topline in conjunction with a single milled sight line painted dove gray on the dark flange provides confident alignment when paired with the subtly sculpted milling marks designed into the metal.

SMALL SLANT/JET NECK

The small slant/jet neck lays back slightly and employs a seamless shaft-over setup for an uninterrupted view of the ball from address with nearly one shaft of offset in a configuration that encourages a bit of toe flow.
