Taking the driver to this new level required some re-thinking – in terms of shape, weight, and positioning. The all-new Callaway Rogue Driver is a supercharged version of its predecessor, boosting ball speed, increasing forgiveness with its MOI-enhancing shape, and delivering better energy transfer.
The Jailbreak Effect – Enhancements New, hourglass-shaped titanium bars are significantly lighter (25%), whilst serving their function in minimizing the crown and sole deflection during impact at the same level of efficiency Faster ball speed is promoted through better energy transfer to the ball and a thinner face Strategic areas of the face are thinned and thickened in accordance with our enhanced X-Face (VFT face) architecture, resulting in consistently high ball speed (as well as the promotion of higher ball speeds on off-centre hits), and longer overall distance.
- Redistributed weight savings in the head’s perimeter increase forgiveness and MOI
- During off-center hits, distance and direction are preserved superbly
- Ball speed is also preserved across a more expansive area of the club face
Rogue Fairway Wood
Callaway is introducing, for the first time, a Hyper Speed Face Cup and Jailbreak Technology combination in its Fairway Woods. This duo delivers consistent, long distances by promoting fast ball speed across a large area of the face.
- Ultra-low CG location
- High MOI
- Easier to hit
- Lightweight, strong crown
- High launch and low spin
- More forgiveness
- Consistently long distance
- Industry-leading weight and loft options
This 455 Carpenter steel face is not only extremely fast and ultra-thin, but the design leverages its new Jailbreak technology to make it even faster. Whether your hits are on centre or off, long distance and ball speed are promoted with the help of Callaway’s industry-leading Hyper Speed Face Cup. This technology maintains speed across the face for a more consistent outcome each stroke.
- ISW (Internal Standing Wave) positions the Centre of Gravity, with incredible precision, lower and forward.
- Launch, ball speed, and distance have been considerably improved.
- Easy to hit and versatile.
New and improved “Rogue” technology packages find their way into the latest Irons from Callaway.
The manufacturer’s renowned 360 Face Cup technology (VFT – Variable Face Thickness) focuses on the area of the face responsible for ball speed, expanding this portion and providing a flexible, shallow rim around the perimeter. The result is an explosion of energy (the face flexes and releases upon impact) that maximises ball speed.
In addition, the way the face flexes is influenced by VFT to provide distance and forgiveness on off-centre hits.
Optimal Flight and Control
With the use of Tungsten Weighting (which is twice as heavy as steel), the level of precision with which the CG can be positioned within the irons is increased. At each individual loft, control and launch are optimised.
The Callaway Rogue Iron is one of four iron models (Rogue “Standard,” Rogue X, Rogue Pro and Rogue W) crafted to provide the exact performance features desired by different players. This club’s design (Standard) is centred on balanced performance.
Great Feel and Sound
Urethane Microspheres allow players to reap the benefits of a thin clubface (more distance and faster ball speed) without the undesirable vibration that often accompanies it.
The dampening effect provided by urethane often reduces the flexibility of the face, but an elastic-urethane combination in the Microspheres neither reduces the ball speed nor compromises COR, giving golfers the best of both worlds.
